As an ESG data specialist and portfolio manager at ASML, you will manage data, develop reporting tools, and enhance the Community Partnership Program.

Introduction to the job

ASML is a global leader in semiconductor technology, driving digital transformation and innovation worldwide. Through our Community Partnership Program (CPP), we aim to make a positive social impact in the communities around our main locations, contributing to ASML’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Sustainability strategy.

The Society & Community Engagement (S&CE) function leads high-impact initiatives to build strong relationships with community stakeholders and securing ASML’s license to operate by delivering meaningful societal benefits. The Community Partnership Program (CPP) is the primary vehicle through which S&CE delivers these initiatives globally.

Do you enjoy developing reports and dashboards, and translating data into insights that guide strategic decision-making? Are you passionate about social impact and ESG, and motivated to mature and strategically enhance the Community Partnership Program? Are you energized by cross-functional collaboration, working with different departments across ASML?

If these questions resonate with you, we encourage you to apply and help us strengthen the impact of ASML’s Community Partnership Program.

Job mission

As an ESG Data & Reporting Specialist, you will be at the heart of our efforts to measure, analyze, and report on the impact of our programs, delivering robust governance and compliance with sustainability regulations.

While your primary focus will be on data and reporting, you will also help shape the strategic direction of the CPP portfolio and contribute to broader program development. This is a global role, engaging with stakeholders across regions and functions—including ESG Strategy, Finance, Legal, Risk, Communications, and more.

Main responsibilities

As the ESG Data & Reporting Specialist, your primary focus will be on data management, database maintenance, development of reporting tools, and preparing reports for the CPP. You will:

  • Develop and maintain databases, dashboards, and reporting tools to provide comprehensive insights into the CPP portfolio.
  • Prepare and present CPP portfolio insights to steer and manage the project portfolio in line with the CPP objectives.
  • Support the development and execution of CPP strategy and program priorities through robust data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with program managers and other internal stakeholders (e.g., ESG strategy, finance, legal, risk, procurement) to drive program effectiveness and resolve data-related roadblocks.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality, reporting processes, and impact measurement methodologies.
  • Play an active role in program governance, including managing the project approval process and ensuring projects adhere to standardized methodologies and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and integrate regulatory reporting requirements into CPP reporting processes.
  • In addition to your core responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to broader portfolio management activities, such as stakeholder engagement and strategic planning.

Education

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Sustainability, Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related).

Experience

  • 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a large corporate and international environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, developing and managing databases, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and impact measurement, preferably within ESG, sustainability, or community engagement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with sustainability regulations and reporting frameworks (e.g., CSRD) is a plus.
  • Experience in KPI tracking, performance monitoring, and regulatory compliance is a plus.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Personal skills

  • Proven ability to operate confidently and independently in complex environments—recognizing business needs, shaping ideas, aligning stakeholder interests, and driving results. You are a self-starter who inspires others, navigates ambiguity, and translates strategic intent into actionable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in complex, cross-functional environments.

Context of position

This role is part of the CPP Portfolio Management, Data & Reporting team within S&CE, overseeing ASML’s global CPP project portfolio.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced data and reporting specialist who is eager to drive meaningful impact and help shape the future of the Community Partnership Program. While the role centers on data and reporting, it also includes elements of strategic portfolio management—offering room to develop professionally. If you are passionate about collaborating within a global team and engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, this role offers the perfect environment to leverage your skills and grow your career.

Inclusion and diversity

ASML is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values and respects the importance of a diverse and inclusive workforce. It is the policy of the company to recruit, hire, train and promote persons in all job titles without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
