Job Description & Summary
Are you interested in pursuing a career in Sustainable Finance? Interested in making true impact for banks? We are hiring! Banks are increasingly aware of their role in the transition to a climate-neutral, green, circular, inclusive and competitive economy. With pressure growing to decarbonise, banks have to embed ESG aspects into their front office, requiring significant changes throughout client engagement strategies, products & services, risk statements, industry collaborations and culture. This is the only way they can continue to be assured of a license to operate, maintain a viable revenue model and contribute to a further restoration of confidence in the financial sector. Sustainable finance offers banks opportunities to distinguish themselves with products and services such as green mortgages, sustainability linked loans and financing of clean technologies.
Will you help our clients to integrate ESG and achieve the desired sustainable finance ambition? Would you like to navigate in a multidisciplinary and international environment, implement decarbonisation levers, and be part of sustainable changes in society?
What you will be doing
Our Consulting team supports banks to master new challenges. How to determine their sustainability ambition and what is the competition doing? What is the impact of sustainable finance on the future organisation of banks? How to navigate growing external pressures to integrate ESG?
As a Senior Manager your responsibility is to help build the ESG practice for Banking. Which means you’ll help acquire projects, develop and strengthen client relations, and creating a strong network in the banking sector. You will take the lead on several sustainable finance projects, support our teams, and coach our consultants. You’ll use your knowledge, insights, creativity, and leadership skills to inspire people, and work with our clients in co-creation. You’ll work in multidisciplinary and often international teams, that also include experts in strategy, technology, risk, operations, change management and regulation.
Team
We’ll provide you a home base in the Financial Services Consulting team, which is a diverse and motivated group of people, with strong growth aspirations. We strive for equality and inclusion, aiming for a balance between genders and a variety of cultures to ensure applicants of all backgrounds are welcomed. You’ll help us to further build a team of sustainable finance consultants who keep track of leading ESG banking solutions.
